Gravadlax on Cucumber Rounds
These little bite-sized morsels are full of flavour and gluten-free too.
Ingredients
- 1 – 2 whole cucumbers, sliced into rounds
- 200gm sour cream
- 70gm mayonnaise
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 2 tbsp grated horseradish
- 150gm The Wee Smokehouse gravadlax
- Dill to decorate
- Fresh ground pepper
Preparation
- Slice cucumber into rounds, and arrange on serving dishes/platter.
- In a bowl combine sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, horseradish and salt and pepper to taste. Set aside
- To prepare the canapé, top each piece of cucumber with a teaspoon of horseradish crème in the middle. Add a bite-sized piece of gravadlax (cut ahead of time using a sharp knife or kitchen scissors).
- Garnish with fresh dill and a grind of black pepper.
